It’s 207 days of my new reality. 207 days since my mum took her last breath. It’s also our first Easter without her. I didn’t prepare myself for this mentally and, as a result, it hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday. I found myself overwhelmed with grief. So I cried. I cried until I felt it all subside and then I felt ready to deal with this new reality. When I saw this quote this morning it made so much sense to me after yesterday’s experience. “The best way out is always through”
