31 Days of Gratitude: Day 22

22/12/2021

🌼Sometimes, when I least expect it, I get these little reminders that my son is growing up. They jar my brain a bit. They other day his phone went to voicemail. He had set up his mailbox before his voice broke. I wasn’t expecting to hear his little boy voice and I almost burst into tears.

This evening I walked past the table and saw his wallet next to my car keys and my first thought was: “what man is in the house” and then I realised what I was looking at.

My baby is growing up. I don’t know if I will ever be ready for each milestone. I am however grateful that I do get to witness each one and help him through them too. 🌼

31 days of Gratitude: Day 20

20/12/2021

🌼Today I am grateful for the journey that I am on. It’s so weird and wonderful to be aware of God /the Universe/Spirit (take your pick) working their magic through you and the people around you. All we have to do is decide what it is we want, get out of the way by surrendering to what is, and then watch the magic unfold before our very eyes. I can’t remember the exact event that set me on this path but I am so grateful that it happened and led to the journey that I am on. Today I am grateful for my journey🙏🌼

31 Days of Gratitude: Day 19

19/12/2021

🌼Today I am grateful for the time and space to relax. I was so exhausted. Alex and I went to watch Spider-Man. I think Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is the best one yet. What do you think? I had my hair done yesterday and today I did some cleaning and then gave up half way and booked for someone to come in on Tuesday and finish it off. 🙈 I am so grateful that I can actually just book someone to help. Today I am grateful for the time and space to relax. 🌼
