If something is not working, be ruthless and walk away or be still and don’t feed it any further with your attention. The situation or person will fade away if it’s/their own accord. Life should flow and not be a constant uphill battle about everything. There will always be challenges that you need to push through but there are also some that you need to just step around. Trust your instincts and you will know.
