31 days of Gratitude: Day 8

🌼Today I am grateful for technology. Never will I ever have to type up a claim from a product pack again! I am loving Apple’s scan-to-text feature on my phone. Technology has allowed me to have a job during this pandemic despite not being able to go in to the office. It allows me to study and write my exams online. My favourite favourite piece of tech is my kindle. I read about a book, visit Amazon and ta-da, after parting with a reasonable sum, I get to read it immediately! Just a few reasons why I am so thankful for tech today 🌼

🌼Today I am thankful for my parents. They were married on this day 49 years ago. They provided for my sisters and I, gave us love and educated us. We did not have a lot but, and it has taken me a long time to realise this, we had everything that we needed. So today I say thank you to my mum, who is now late, and my dad for being the best parents that you knew how to be. I am who I am because you loved and raised me. Thank you. 🌼

🌼Today I am grateful for the opportunity to continue my studies. I was busy completing my final assignment for the year (or should I say flitting between my assignment and that humdinger of a race that was the Saudi GP!😜) and I realised how blessed I was to have an assignment to finish. I love to learn and to absorb new information. I am very blessed that I have the means to continue my education year after year and feed my curiosity. Thank you. 🌼
