31 Days of Gratitude – Day 12

My son is home safe and sound! πŸ™ŒπŸ™. I will definitely sleep a lot better tonight. He is off again in a few days but today we celebrate his safe return!

I just discovered that I failed one of my exams. Not quite a surprise. I guess next year I will have to really focus on it. I enjoy the subject but I just have not enjoyed writing the exams. Next year will be different though.

Today is my gran’s heavenly birthday. She left us 39 years ago but I still remember her so clearly. Her name was Molly. She was small in stature and very quiet but boy was she a strong person. She was clearly an awesome mother too judging by how her kids turned out. I know that she is always watching over us and for this I am grateful. I am also very grateful to her for giving us our dad. We are because she was. πŸ™

31 Days of Gratitude: Day 9

The day started off with good news on the scale. The number was lower than expected! Whoop whoop! Then I put on a dress I hadn’t worn in a while and there has definitely been cm loss as well! πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½ I have been working hard all year on lowering that number on the scale and I am finally starting to see progress. I so relieved and very very grateful for God’s Grace.

I ended the day with a dinner and some dancing with friends. I had a blast. It was just what I needed to end off a very long week. I am grateful for the opportunity to get out and about and to enjoy the company of friends. 🌟

31 Days of Gratitude- Day 6

Today I went into the office. We are very very fortunate to work in the building that we do. It is beautiful! We are also blessed with amazing views of the sea and we have a garden downstairs, where you can enjoy your cappuchino from the coffee shop and lunch from the canteen. Both are subsidised so we pay less than we would at a normal coffee shop and restaurant. Let’s not forget that the reason I have pretty nails every day is because we have a salon on site as well. We are very spoilt in terms of our work facilities.

As you can see, I can’t be blamed for gazing out the window often. It’s too beautiful out there to ignore. I am very grateful to work in such a stunning and inspiring environment and for such an awesome company.
