31 Days of Gratitude: Day 9

The day started off with good news on the scale. The number was lower than expected! Whoop whoop! Then I put on a dress I hadn’t worn in a while and there has definitely been cm loss as well! πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ’ƒπŸ½ I have been working hard all year on lowering that number on the scale and I am finally starting to see progress. I so relieved and very very grateful for God’s Grace.

I ended the day with a dinner and some dancing with friends. I had a blast. It was just what I needed to end off a very long week. I am grateful for the opportunity to get out and about and to enjoy the company of friends. 🌟

31 Days of Gratitude – Day 8

Phew! Today was a scorcher. I have no idea what the temperature was but I can tell you it was hectically humid. To make matters worse, my fan broke the other day so I sat at my desk working while sweat poured down my face. I will definitely be going in to the office tomorrow for the aircon more than any other reason. I am really grateful that I have that option.

It was so humid that my glassess misted up instantly when I stepped out of an airconditioned store this eveing.

I am also grateful that I passed one more subject. That’s 2 out of 6 thus far. The 3rd, I have disputed because my lecturer claims I uploaded the incorrect paper and gave me 0% yet my screenshot of the upload shows that I uploaded the correct paper. I have done what I can to sort that out. The outcome I will leave in God’s hands. He knows what His plans for me are.

It’s been a long week. The end is in sight. The best part…I am still standing! For this I am grateful.

31 Days of Gratitude- Day 7

The most important thing that I am grateful for today is that my son arrived safely at his destination. Thank you Lord. It is also t-31 days to the 50th anniversay of my birth! I am very excited to be turning 50! A whole new decade to look forward to. I wonder what fabulous surprises await me:)

As I look back on this year, I am also grateful for the things that didn’t happen. One of those being that I didn’t find a house that I could afford at the beginning of the year. Had I done so, I probably would be living on bread and jam right now to make my bond repayments due to the continous rate increases. God definitely had my back with that one. We also would not have gotten to meet the new kittens. There is one in particular that my son just adores. He calls him Lando.

With my son away, I get to have a little bit of me time which is a real blessing. I miss him when he is not here but I really don’t miss having to worry about what to cook for dinner every day…lol. I am definitely grateful for my me time.
