“Wherever you go, go with all your heart” – Confucius

Bloganuary writing prompt
Name an attraction or town close to home that you still haven’t got around to visiting.

Ooh, there are lots of attractions that are pretty close to home that are still on my bucket list. In fact, as I am writing this, I am asking myself what is really stopping me from ticking at least some of them off this year??? Feels like a new goal is brewing…

Giba Gorge

This is a beautiful nature reserve that has a mountain bike park as well as hiking trails. They have a restaurant, although I think there are also picnic sites. It’s about a 40-minute drive from my home, so it’s not too far away. My friends and I have planned a hike in the next week or two, and I am really hoping we do go.

I am keeping it short and sweet today.

Thanks for popping by. Be blessed.

31 Days of Gratitude – Day 16

Today was a good day. I had brunch with a friend after a long time. The venue was beautiful. It was an outdoor cafe called the Neighbourhood Cafe. It was quite a peaceful place. It was great to catch up with my friend. She has been the backbone of my support system in Durban since my son and I moved back here in 2011. I truly value and appreciate her.

31 Days of Gratitude- Day 14

Today was a good day. My son reached his destitation safely. Our team had a great afternoon together and certain things that had concerned me, fell into place. God just always makes a way. I am so thankful for His Grace. Lastly, it was just a stunning day in Durban today. Of course the thing that would really top this day off would be if Morocco wins their match tonight! I will defintely be praying for them and keeping my fingers crossed. It’s time for Africa (Waka Waka eh eh)! 🙂
