Quote of the day: Rumi

“This moment is all there is”

___Rumi

🌼Don’t you find this concept scary? The right and right now is all that you have. As much as your plans for the future matter, they don’t matter as much as this moment right now.

If you are spending this moment trapped in past events, you can’t appreciate who and and what is in your life right now.

If you are completely caught up in your future, you can’t appreciate who and what is in your life right now.

The reality is that if you don’t appreciate this moment then you are letting life pass you by.

In this moment is love, beauty, peace, joy and, sometimes, the answers you seek, or solutions to problems you have been experiencing. In this moment. Here and Now.

This moment is all there is.🌼

Quote of the day: Seneca

Thankful Tuesday Quote:

“True happiness is to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future, not to amuse ourselves with either hopes or fears but to rest satisfied with what we have, which is sufficient, for he that is so wants nothing”

Seneca

🌼I have had a terrible habit of overthinking things. Trying to figure out what is unseen and how it will affect my future. I used to drive myself crazy. I still find myself doing it from time to time. What a way to be ungrateful for what is.

To acknowledge and appreciate that which I already have, and those people who’s love and support I never have to question, is how I am learning to cultivate more inner peace. Those that need to join me on my path will arrive and stay and those that don’t will move on peacefully. It’s their choice as well. I am finding that gratitude is like an elixir. The more I practice it, the richer my life becomes.🌼

Quote of the day: Naval Ravikant

“Don’t settle, and don’t struggle”

Naval Ravikant

🌼In all things in life, don’t settle for less than you deserve. Know your worth. Know that what you seek seeks you so don’t settle and don’t struggle. Sometimes we get hung up on people/jobs/situations as a representation of what we want when it’s not the person/job/situation, it’s what they represent to you. Know the difference. Let go of the person/job/situation and keep your eye on the goal and the rest will flow.🌼
