“Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.”

This morning I came across a Peter J. Bone post on Instagram in which he speaks about “clearing the runway” so that the plane can land. The “plane” being your blessings. I smiled because it affirmed how I had been feeling all week long.

During the week I set down some boundaries with people at work and with some people in my life. I will not lower what I have committed to myself because people will not raise their game or see my worth and meet me there. Yesterday I set about making physical space for my coming blessings and started re-reading “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle just to help me reset how I view the world and to clear the clutter in my mind so that I can get in touch with my spiritual side again. I feel like I have drifted off from it. Know what I mean?

In retrospect, this drifting off is due more to chasing the things I want rather than stating what it is I want, displaying active faith and then standing in God while He prepares my blessings however He sees fit. I just need to keep the runway clear. The plane is on it’s way! 😁

Have a fantastic and prosperous week!

“When people are ready to, they change. They never do it before then, and sometimes they die before they get around to it. You can’t make them change if they don’t want to, just like when they do want to, you can’t stop them.”

Andy Warhol

People do what works for them. Once I accepted this fact, I found it a little easier to accept people’s behaviors or mindsets and let them be. It has not been easy though and I still struggle with it when it comes to the people I love most dearly.

My job is me. Your job is you. The changes I make will attract the people I need on my journey but it may not bring about your change and I am learning to be okay with it and walk away where I need to simply because my job is me.
