Celebrating 2023: A Month of Gratitude – Day 3

Abundance is a mindset that attracts everything you need and desire to you. This is a lesson that I am very grateful to have learned this year.

2023 has been a year of abundance. I would like to believe that it is because I made a greater effort to nip the scarcity mindset I have had all my life and started believing that I will always have more than enough and that I deserve, and am worthy of, the best of everything I desire.

I only realised last year that I had never believe this about myself. It is not easy to change such a long held belief but it is not impossible either and I have only just begun. Imagine what lies before me!

This year, I was finally appointed to the role that I have wanted for years! I am so thrilled and very grateful. I won a competition through my bank that basically covered my petrol bill for the second half of the year. How’s that for the Universe having my back! I received the biggest bonus I have ever received this year! I believe that this was God ensuring that I would make through this year with a lot less financial stress than I have been experiencing.

These are just a few examples of all the unexpected financial help I have received this year. I believe that because I believed that I would have more than enough, I opened the door for God/Universe to deliver to that belief. May I never forget this awesome lesson that I learned this year. Thank you God!

31 Days of Gratitude – Day 18

How is it possible that we are now more than halfway through December??? In South Africa we call it Dezemba although even that name doesn’t quite capture what a vibe the country is during this month. It is sun, fun, surf and braai time. Lots of businesses close from the 15th until after the first week in January. Like I said, the entire country is a whole vibe in Dezemba!😜 This is when we relax and enjoy the company of our friends and family.

Today was part chill day and part declutter day for me. I managed to part with some of the junk that I have been holding on to. If I hadn’t touched it in at least 6 months, I decided that it couldn’t possibly be adding value to my life anymore so we parted ways. It feels so good to get rid of the junk. As I write this I am eyeing a shelf in my wardrobe that ahs bothered me for a while now. While it feels good to get rid of the junk, it is also a reminder of how abundant my life is in so many ways. I am grateful for this abundance.

I also found a pay slip from 10 years ago. I am grateful for where I am now and all I have. I just need to manage my resourses better. I know that there is so much more I can do with what I have. That will be one of my top 3 goals for 2023. I will find ways to do more with what I currently have.

Lastly, I am so happy for Argentina and especially Messi! Congrats on winning the 2022 World Cup! What a match! If I still smoked, I would have probably chain smoked through the last half hour or so of that match…lol. Awesome game!

My month of Gratitude: Day 9

🌼Today I am grateful for the abundance in my life. I have everything I need materialistically. I am surrounded about love and good people who, I am learning I can trust to be there for me when I really need a helping hand. God works through people in amazing ways. I am grateful for the abundance in my life. 🌼
