31 Days of Gratitude: Day 17

17/12/2021

🌼Today I am grateful for surprises. This is the 4th year that I am doing this gratitude month challenge and every year, between the 10th and 20th Dec I get something for free. This year I had ordered a skirt and top online and it arrived yesterday. To my surprise, there was a free top and a scrunchy for my hair. I also popped into the Lego store to buy a piece that we had lost and the guy gave it to me for free. It was really sweet of him. It blows my mind how this has happened for 4 years in a row. Thank you God for my blessings, be they great or small. 🌼

31 days of Gratitude: Day 16

🌼Today I am grateful for the Christmas’s I got to spend with my mum. This evening Alex and I put up the Christmas tree while listening to some Christmas carols. I found myself in tears as the carols took me back to 40+ years of midnight masses with our family. My mum loved those services and especially the Christmas carols. So today I am grateful for all the Christmas’s that I was blessed to spend with her and our family. 🌼

31 Days of Gratitude: Day 15

🌼Today I am grateful for this coming long weekend and the opportunity to rest. I am so exhausted that I have fallen asleep at about 8:30pm the last 2 nights. Shock and horror for a night owl like me 😱😂 This weekend though I get to rest and spend some time with my son. I am also grateful that those that I know with covid are doing well and are on their way to recovery. Today I am definitely grateful for the opportunity to rest. 🌼
