Quote of the day: Tracee Ellis Ross

Spiritual Sunday Quote:

“…I’m complete just as myself. Not in relation to anyone or anything else-just wholly fully me”

___Tracee Ellis Ross

I am a great a fan of Tracee Ellis Ross. She is an amazing women. I love this quote from her which I read in old edition of Destiny Mag because, once you understand and accept this, you can’t help but feel free. You no longer have to conform to what you believe society expects of you and you start following your own path. You find yourself open to opportunities that you would never have considered before. The right people start gravitating towards you. The best part, your natural beauty shines through😊. This has been my journey this year. What a ride it has been this far🙌.

It’s Spring Day in the Southern Hemisphere today. The perfect time to clean out your old perceptions of yourself and acknowledge, accept and embrace the real you. Happy Spring Day! 💐🌺🌻

Quote of the day: Hermes Trismegistus

“As within, so without”

____Hermes Trismegistus

When things are in turmoil or just don’t seem to be going right, one has to take stock of what’s going on in the mind. Are we upset with someone or ourselves, holding a grudge, feeling disorganized, etc. Take stock and forgive the other person and/or yourself, let go of mistakes made, complete that task that has been left undone and reconnect with your God. Your will find harmony again.

Quote of the day: Robin Sharma

Wisdom Wednesday Quote: “How high you fly is derived from how big you think.”

____Robin Sharma

We had our Chief HR Officer, Leena Nair, speak to us yesterday. What a phenomenal woman and leader she is. Below is 3 pieces of advice that she shared with us which I would like to share with you:

1. Dream big. It doesn’t matter where you come from, just dream big then work towards achieving it.

2. Stay curious. The world is changing at an amazing pace and if you are not open to learning regardless of your age, you will get left behind. Call me crazy but I see learning as fun. Each time you learn something new, it changes your perception of the world and expands your horizons so get learning.

3. Stay humble. This goes hand in hand with staying curious. You have to be able to acknowledge that you don’t know everything to open yourself up to learning.

And at every step of the way, don’t forget to “help someone cross” as Tyler Perry says.
