A month of gratitude: Day 7

🌼I am grateful for my new coffee machine. About 3 weeks ago I bought a new coffee machine at the urging of my son. It is a pod machine. Little did I know that he wanted me to buy it so that he could make me a “special” cup of coffee in the morning that I could enjoy in bed. He can make a normal cup but doesn’t enjoy the process. With this machine, he can make it with ease and he even cleans up afterward. This is rare but it also tells me how much he enjoys using the machine. The joy on his face when he brings me that morning coffee is priceless. (the novelty has worn off so I now get on weekends only and not week days anymore). I get to enjoy a good cup of coffee in bed (that I didn’t have to make) every Saturday and Sunday morning while I read or journal which has always been a little dream of mine and my son gets to feel like he started his day doing something special for his mum (and he has!). It’s the little things that count. Thank you for my new coffee machine. 🌼

A month of gratitude: Day 5

🌼I am grateful that my problems are not insurmountable. Yesterday I woke up feeling a bit low. A little later, I heard of the passing of a woman that I went to school with and then I heard her story. My heart broke. Her problems put mine in perspective. So today I am grateful that each of my problems can be overcome and for my knowledge of and faith in God because He always has my back.🌼

A month of gratitude: Day 1

It’s the month of December and once again I will post each day just one thing that I am grateful for. I did this last year and I entered this year grateful for where I was and knowing that everything could only get better. I was not wrong. I encourage you to do the same. You can’t lose.😉

🌼Today I am grateful for my son. My greatest blessing. He makes me rethink everything I thought I knew about life and he brings out a level of love in me that I did not know was possible.

I love you my son. Thank you for choosing me to be your mom.🌼
